Families- tomorrow is materials pick up day from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Daycare families may also enter at this time to pick up any belongings. Please bring a bag to help carry items. Due to restrictions on group size, children may not attend the materials pick up. If you need us to run items out to your car or you are unable to pick materials up tomorrow, please call the office to make other arrangements.
Based on an overload of the Google Education Suite by teachers nationwide, Google Classroom has had many unknown errors today slowing teachers down. Our teachers have requested that the expectation to begin online content not begin until Wednesday the 18th so they are adequately prepared. Your students are welcome to start any paperwork picked up tomorrow in the meantime.
Thank you for your continued support and patience.

Respetuosamente,
Administración de Escuelas del Área de Big Foot

Big Foot Area Schools Closing
Dear Families,
Governor Tony Evers has issued a statewide closure of all schools in Wisconsin. We will close after school on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 and tentatively reopen on April 6, 2020. The closure will include cancellation of all school related activities and childcare.
Teachers will be sending information for virtual learning, and some may send paper work as well.
The Department of Public Instruction is working on guidance for schools, and it remains unclear if there will be any lost instructional days forgiven by the state. More information will be made available as soon as updates are received.
Respectfully,
Big Foot Area Schools Administration

Hello,
We have a special event coming up on Monday, January 27th due to the celebration of the Chinese New Year, the year of the Rat.
During our lunch periods we will be having taste testing guests. They will be providing taste testing of different Chinese sauced chicken, fried rice, and pot stickers.
The K-3 will be taste testing two sauces with the chicken and putting "smiley" cards in the bucket of the chicken sauce that they liked.
The 4th-8th graders will be able to try each one of the four sauces and fried rice and fill out a comment card.
The 6-8th graders will be able to try the additional pot stickers and will fill out comment cards as well.
The winning sauce will be featured in our menu on Friday, February 7th for lunch , to celebrate the closing of Chinese New Year.
This event is available to all the staff, hot lunch eaters, AND cold lunch eaters.
This should be an interesting lunch day!!
Look for the WINNING SAUCE on our February Lunch Menu.
